🍷 Wine Wednesday Recap: Château Palmer, Digital Art, and What’s Coming Next
How history, design, and choice came together in one conversation.
Yesterday on Wine Wednesday, we spent the hour focused on three things that sit right at the center of what we’re building at dVIN: a rare wine release, a new way of communicating wine through art, and a glimpse of what’s coming next.
If you weren’t able to join us live, here’s the recap.
🍇 The Wine Drop: Château Palmer 2014, XIX Century
We started with the details of today’s members-only wine drop:
Château Palmer 2014, XIX Century.
This cuvée looks back to the 19th century, when Bordeaux commonly blended a small portion of Hermitage Syrah into Médoc wines. Château Palmer revives this tradition only in select vintages, producing the wine in very small quantities.
It’s a bottle that keeps Palmer’s depth and aromatic lift, while showing a softer, more velvety texture than you’d expect at this stage. Unconventional, but unmistakably Palmer.
The drop is now live and extremely limited.

🎨 The Digital Cork Artwork: Translating Wine into Form
A highlight of the session was welcoming Markus Gladitsch - sommelier, creative consultant, and the artist behind the digital cork artwork created specifically for this Palmer release.
Markus shared how he approaches wine not just through tasting notes, but through visual language and narrative structure. His goal isn’t to explain the wine, but to translate its tension, balance, and character into something you can see and feel.
The digital cork artwork reflects exactly that: a meeting point between Bordeaux and the Northern Rhône, tradition and reinterpretation, structure and softness.

🚨 The Announcement: Choosing the Moment, Not the Bottle
We closed Wine Wednesday with an announcement we’ve been quietly working toward 👀
Soon, we’ll be introducing dVIN Reveal - a new way to experience wine where you don’t choose a label or a producer. Instead, you choose the moment, and we take care of the bottle.
It’s designed to remove overthinking and decision fatigue, while keeping quality and intention at the center.
The waitlist is now LIVE, and we’ll be sharing more details very soon.

🎙 What’s Next: AMA with Dave & Jana
There’s a lot more to unpack - from the Palmer release to digital corks and what dVIN Reveal means for wine buying more broadly.
Dave and I will be hosting an AMA next Thursday live on X at 5pm CET to walk through it properly and answer your questions.

Thanks again to everyone who joined us live yesterday, and a special thanks to Markus for bringing such a thoughtful perspective to the conversation.
