Wine Wednesday Recap: Public Launch Party & Cos d’Estournel 2019 🚀🍷
Celebrating our biggest platform overhaul yet, and a majestic 2019 "Super Second" Bordeaux.
On this week’s livestream, we had a major reason to celebrate: Club dVIN is officially open to the public. The church bells of Oberkassel were ringing in the background as I tuned in sipping a Grüner Veltliner blend by Stefan Wellanschitz. Annabelle Borra co-hosted from hot Pamplona to give a live tour of our massive new platform rebuild - live as of just minutes before the broadcast.

The Drop: Château Cos d’Estournel 2019
With the gates to the club officially open, we focused our midweek ritual on a magnificent “Super Second” growth from the gravel beds of Saint-Estèphe: Château Cos d’Estournel 2019.
The Architecture: A powerful, structural left-bank blend composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot.
The “Hallelujah” Vintage: The 2019 growing season saw an intensely hot summer. Late-season rains dramatically saved the harvest, infusing the fruit with massive concentration balanced by a vibrant, energetic acidity.
The Critical View: This legendary vintage secured an outstanding 97-point score from critics , showing gorgeous layers of bright red fruits and incredible structural longevity.
The Chateau Experience Reward: Sourced directly from the estate with absolute provenance , members who secured a three-bottle lot unlocked a highly exclusive, private tour and tasting experience at the chateau the next time they travel to Bordeaux.

We have consolidated 5 years of development into a single, seamless digital ecosystem. Here are the key pillars of the live rebuild:
The Collector Tier Subscription: With our original lifetime legacy tiers (Genesis and Global Insider) permanently closed, we have officially launched our annual subscription tier. Available immediately without a gated application, anyone can join for €500/year.
Digital Corks vs. Soldiers: Every single bottle you buy carries both a chain of custody and chain of ownership. A bottle held at Bordeaux City Bond remains a Digital Cork. Request shipping of your bottles anytime through the platform; when you decide to enjoy the bottle, click “open bottle” to pull it into your tasting journey, it then becomes a non-saleable Soldier.
The Member Marketplace: members can now securely list and trade verified bottles directly with other members inside the platform. Provenance remains fully assured because the wine never leaves the bonded network.
Tailored Wine Wish Lists: You can now log into your profile and select your favourite global regions or add specific producers to your personal wish list. When those hard-to-source allocations come to light, you will receive an automatic priority alert.
The Referral Program: To celebrate the launch, members can utilise their personal referral codes. When a friend joins via your invite, both accounts automatically receive a €50 credit toward your next wine drop.
