Wine Drops Are Back 🍷🇫🇷
A historic start to 2026 and what’s coming next.
The year is properly underway now, and so are we.
Clip featuring all of 2025 wine drops for Club dVIN 🍷
After a short pause over the holidays, wine drops are back, and 2026 is shaping up to be one of our most ambitious years yet. We wanted to share what’s coming, what’s still open, and one piece of reading worth your time this week.
🍇 Wine Drops Are Back & We’re Starting Strong
We’re officially returning to wine drops, and we’re doing it the way we like to: with wines that carry history, provenance, and meaning.
Our first drop of 2026 features a unique cuvée from the Hospices de Beaune: Pommard, Cuvée Raymond Cyrot 2018. This is a wine rooted in Burgundy’s charitable and viticultural history, produced in tiny quantities and rarely encountered outside serious circles.
As always, this drop will be members only.
If you’re a member, keep a close eye on your inbox, details are coming soon.
And one more thing to keep in mind: next week’s drop will be something truly special. A unique cuvée from Château Palmer, drawing on a historical XIXᵗʰ-century wine, is on the horizon.

📖 If You Missed It: The Phantom Bottle Crisis
Last week, we published a piece that sparked a lot of conversation:
“The Phantom Bottle Crisis: Why Your Cloud Cellar Might Just Be Expensive Air.”
It looks at a growing issue in wine investing and storage, situations where ownership is reduced to a spreadsheet entry, with little clarity on custody, control, or recourse. If you care about provenance and real ownership, it’s well worth a read.
